its possible that baz might be gay. this reminds me of the time viva came out as being trans, and we all thought he was joking. we were all like "a big hulking ungainly bulk of a man like you, imagining he's female?! never!", yet he pushed through with it anyway, big knobby chin, jowls, sweaty cock and all.

now that i think of it, i cant think of a single female baz has ever made lusty comments about. sure, he's made grotesquely lascivious poems about women and their parts, where women were vague, faceless concepts. but i dont recall him throwing in his two cents, for example, during the amber heard conversation or any similar conversations (of course i dont really pay that much attention to baz, mind, so it's possible that he did and i didnt notice or have forgotten). he has, however, in the past said that neil is cute and recently that nicky is pretty. i know, i know, those things are just objective fact! but like i said, ive never heard him say that about a female.

im not going to congratulate him though, far from it, because if this is what his "coming out" looks like, then it's done with just as much tastelessness, buffoonery and cowardice as everything else he has ever done.

i will, however, extend my sympathies to the gay community, because im quite sure they dont want him either.

He is obviously a nelly bottom.

Anyway, I love your clothes. I like the blazer, too, but I just love the first outfit. I want that.

The leopard print strip is super! The jacket probably looks slightly better on dark haired people but the scarf neutralises the colour clash a bit if you have fair hair. I was just thinking how lucky I am to (1) still have all my hair and to (2) live in a place and time where a man can wear womens' clothes without getting his teeth kicked in.

i think i know what baz's problem with me is now: im the gay man he's always wished he could be.

on that note, what do you guys think of my marc jacobs scarf with my r13 jacket??

is nicky-ish, yes?!

or how about my manics sweatshirt with my isabel marant blazer?

(i dont care what anyone says, thats a nice f***ing blazer!!)

or how about with these rockins scarves?? (ive never really liked scarves to be honest but i thought i should start wearing them now that nicky is my style muse and ive always liked these rockins scarves so i bought a few, and they're amazing! and nobody in town owns any like them! everyone here wears STUPID ratty hand knitted hippie scarves! anyway, two of them are STILL being held up with royal mail due to a ransomware attack and havent moved since jan 10th which is fine because im not in a hurry, but i do hope they arrive SOME DAY because i really really love these scarves!!)

(obviously i would not wear this one with this sweatshirt)

look at me, im oversharing!!!!!!

cant go wrong with a prince of wales check.

I have no knowledge about his circle of friends, but it seems to me that he’s working class and that he has a working class job. Those are not the most liberal of circumstances. As for Carlisle, I wouldn’t go as far as to say it’s a “bigoted backwater”.

Some feel they need to cloak their sexuality in front of everyone, including themselves. If that means doing so on an internet site as well, so be it. I don’t find that particularly odd.

At first glance it was “wholly unexpected”, but mere minutes later it made perfect sense. That said, I wouldn’t be shocked to my core if he was indeed yanking our chains. He’s a rascal, after all, our Baz. But for now, I choose to believe him.

I may've dismissed your poetry theory too hastily. As rifke has pointed out, the women in his poems are essentially reduced to conquests and body parts (which could be misogyny, as many heterosexual men view women this way). But you're right, it could be some indication of a conflicted sexuality. I don't know if he's going to be any better being "gay," though. He said in a recent post that he's looking for someone of a similar age with a good profession and a decent cock. No mention of a handsome face. He's rating genitals over a visage. I guess we can look forward to a poem entitled This Night Has Opened My Grindr App, with verses like "if they say they're well-endowed | well don't believe the hype mate | ask for a pic | pictures don't lie | unless they use a fake pic | which is what happened to me in tonight's assignation | unfortunately."

I agree. This is no way to treat a secret held deeply in shame. I much prefer the suicide of a despondent youth whose stifling religion would not let him be. Slit wrists in the bathtub, his parents finding him too late: mother on her knees, wailing and keening to God, while stoic father pulls the lifeless body from the pink water, silent in his Calvinist resignation toward things. Later, when the authorities have cleared out and the body lies in the morgue, they find the suicide note folded up neatly in an envelope in a kitchen drawer. They sit down at the table. Father starts to read it to himself, then angrily crumples it up, telling mother: "it's nothing but filth." He gets up, and as mother watches through her tears, he takes a match and burns, over the sink, one of the most exquisitely-written lamentations a human ever produced. There's a romance to that sort of thing. But here we have a brusque "coming out" by a 54-yr-old on a Morrissey forum. No good, Carlislebaz.

Well to be fair, the men in his poems are reduced to body parts, too. I wouldn't read too much into that. If this Baz character is turning gay in his 50s because - as he himself implied - he is disappointed by the womens, and he is now hoping to find lurve in the shape of a gay relationship, I’m afraid he is in for a big shock.

I guess you have a shot at finding gay love in your 50s if you’re exceptionally fit/attractive or exceptionally loaded or in some other way an exceptional male, but none of that applies to Baz. He is an exceptional wino, but that’s about it :lbf:

i have dark hair! but very pale skin and dingy colours look awful on me, so that my skin, though not generally yellowish, seems to look exactly the same colour as the jacket when the two are put together. but you are right that the scarf improves things immeasurably in regards to colour. you're so smart, bun bun!

im so glad you have all your hair, bun bun!!! :guardsman: also wearing womens clothing as a man is generally a good idea when you're tall and slim!!!

i know lots of gay men in their fifties (this city has nothing but gay men, incidentally (none of them attractive or loaded)) who have found love and have even gotten married. generally they seem to meet over the internet but they seem happy. one of them even married an austrian and moved to vienna and i was beastly jealous. all ive ever wanted was to live in vienna and it was so easy for him. he probably didnt even care, the jerk.

baz cant write that well. i dont think he knows what the word assignation means, and if he did he would spell is avcigyshurn

Have you forgotten about the time you wanted to move to England to come live with me, no??

Or when you wanted to move to Germany to live with Frank and open.

Ohhh and before I forget ... didn’t you want to move in with Hofmann as well?

As for Vienna.... you’ve probably just seen a documentary about it and thought ohhhh that looks a lovely place to live.

How your simple mind works .
