Haha the festival of light. I heard folk talking about this on the radio trying to explain what it was and it just sounded like some sort of family gathering and nothing more. They talked for about 15mins just repeating that they get together and eat dinner and tell stories, it just left me thinking wtf have I wasted my time listening to?!?!

I’ve been reading about the disparity between what is and isn’t stockpiled for potentially disruptive events (such as Brexit). The food supply apparently isn’t something that merits extra securing—and as a matter of principle the government has said it will only respond to some (somewhat
anticipated) food shortage after some crisis occurs. It is interesting, not least because the government claimed it couldn’t have anticipated recent PPE shortages—after being warned a few years ago.

Are we going to hear again about ‘events that nobody could’ve predicted’? I expect all the stops have been pulled out to make sure there is no interruption of the British horse meat exports, to our friends on the continent.

As an Irish citizen, the British attitude to feeding the the less wealthy members of society tends to catch my eye. Is all of this on the Labour Party’s radar, with Brexit getting nearer?

Just for a laugh, because I have slight humour with me this morning, I have indeed just googled ‘Radis is a twat’, & although I was offered multiple, & varied, pornographic content, & obliging links, there was a recent 'solo' entry that read:

"I don't really feel like getting into the thick of things today, except to say that Radis Noir is an insufferable twat."

So the assertion appears to be correct, although he's considered to be of the 'insufferable' variety.

You may even find a thread on this very forum calling him a c*** mate. And with quite a few people agreeing as well. Of course, they’re all ‘trolls’ & ‘racists’, they would be, wouldn’t they.

I totally agree, but what some people on here class as a ‘despicable racist’ is laughable.

I agree about the advert point, I notice it all the time. It doesn’t bother me in itself, but there does not seem to be such thing as a white heterosexual couple in advertising land anymore.

It’s just painfully obvious these adverts have been thought up in a box ticking diversity meeting, it’s embarrassing.
