Notre Dame - live - unofficial video

If one had the skills replacing Morrissey on stage with the Hunchback/Laughton could be entertaining.
Sadly i am not equipped for such a task.

How do people put these together so quickly?

PS - song title should be changed to my user title.

It's a masterpiece, you can feel the flames.
Morrissey, sitting in the burning ruins of Notre Dame, considering the current state of his career:

enemies want to make Anna Karenina out of Morrissey, and friends want him to be happy and healthy.

What a shame, the music is great but the lyrics are just awful.

Aye, he should take his own advice about watching news designed to scare you. A malfunctioning fire alarm that sent people to the wrong section of the roof and some very risky stuff due to the restoration work(electricity, scaffolding etc) and staff actually smoking in the roof of all places might explain why it wasn't terrorism.

In ye olde English it was a right french cock up.

Of course he was going to be influenced by social media and youtube. It's the ideal platform for him to be able to express his views or listen to other people's views without having to physically interact. I'm not surprised in the least by Morrissey's behaviour these days. He's always been a lonely nutter. Give him a break.

I agree that he was never destined to end up like all these sane, successful (and ultimately boring) nostalgia acts. We can be thankful for that. I think the tragedy is the decline in talent and verve. I love him as a nutter, but the nuttiness is now taking an embarrassing form (right-wing conspiracy theorism) and the lyrics are stinky quality. Syd Barrett, to make a comparison, went from loony to really loony, somewhat like Morrissey has—and Barrett's lyricism arguably improved.

I can't help but wonder if Morrissey is having a nervous breakdown. Without serious professional help, I fear his life goes the way of Syd Barrett's and he gives up and lives his final years as a recluse.
