Personally I don't care much for the song.

Yes, I had a listen. That's true the song is nothing special, not musically or vocally. Moz on autopilot. However this line caught my attention in a good way:
Hey kid
Let me die
A short walk into the dark sky
A final adventure
If only I wasn't so tired
Something very captivating in these lines.
