what i don't get is that if he announced that he was going to start recording in september, how did he make the announcement? did he use the fax machine? email? carrier pidgeon? it's very strange that the NME doesn't give even the basic details.

yes, i know that, but how does an announcement by Alain's management turn into an announcement directly from Morrissey?
