I've read reports that Moz is singing 'if you'd like to swing on a star' over the chorus but can't find a You Tube.
Is he doing this to every chorus, every time he sings it?
Seems like a shame to ruin the mass singalong in the encore if he is.
Thanks for any info...

Yeah he just sings that instead of the chorus. I think he's realised it doesn't really matter what he sings at that point: people are either trying to get on stage or watching to see if anyone else gets on stage.

Not been to any of the gigs yet but I think he's only been doing it on the last chorus, as demonstrated by this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjedDYtYc-Y

I quite like it, the vocal melody he's put in there makes me swoon

i must admit i didn't really notice ot at stirling due to be wrecked! but i thought last night it kind of ruined the song, maybe just one chorus, but i'm sure he song the swinging on star lyrics from 'and we stole from the rich...' onwards? alot of people seemed to stop and wonder what the f@ck he was singin and took alot of folk (me included even tho i'd read it from previous reviews) by surprise and upset the rhythm of the crowd.
at least i'm prepared with the new lyrics for tonight!

this song sounded god-awful the last two times I saw him play it (Boston and Chicago.)

He wasn't even attempting to do the song properly. Kermit noises, missed words, alternate lyrics, talking to the audience. Just a jumbled mess.

He'd be better off having the band do The Draize Train and he can just walk back and forth across the stage spewing nonsense. Same result.

and thanks to the others for the info. I'm really annoyed at this. I'm going with friends who only know a handful of solo songs but absolutely love FOTG and it would've been a great way to end the show if he didn't mess it up. hopefully the novelty will have worn off by the time he gets to Brixton!
