Victim.
A victim would go away and talk about how 'traumatised' he has been by Capitol. Instead Moz has written and recorded a new album. That's not bad. He's a survivor, not a victim. Now he just needs to by-pass blood suckers like Capitol and self release.

I agree he and his talent are above all this. I still don't understand why crapitol would throw away a profitable album and deny us the pleasure of enjoying a new LP.

Maybe you (and Surface) should forward this information to Donnie Knutson ?
Done!
Although I'm sure it's not a question of awareness of how to self release the album, but willingness to do so on Moz's part. If Mr Knutson responds I'll let you know lol!

I'm feeling pretty good about this. The Elvis song they selected might give us an idea about what this album will sound like overall. Will it have a 'Casino' sound??? Ka-Ching??? Place your bets??? Twenty-four hour buffets??? ;)

Absolutely. He already has the Mporium as a platform to sell this stuff. With his love of 'classic' album design Moz could have something really special produced in physical format. Although get rid of SER and employ somebody decent as graphic designer. Imagine what a limited edition of Without Music would sell for. I can't believe he doesn't see the attraction of completely bypassing the blood sucking record labels and their 'you're my bitch now' contracts.
You are right. Morrissey is better off. Look what Sam Smith has to do to be "successful" with Capitol as his label. :sick:It's always been about the music and the right to express yourself s an artist with Morrissey. Not a Grammy's Balenciaga shitshow.

How about if Strauss' Thus Spake Zarathustra is sampled anywhere on the record (preferably as the intro to The Night Pop Dropped—which we learn was August 16th, 1977). Maybe Morrissey is with Nick Cave and brother Samsa in preferring late Elvis to early. Get ready for the sequined jumpsuit & cape.

there's a new pressing plant in the UK, based in Middlesbrough called press on vinyl . they are doing great business too . I just priced up the cost of pressing 3000 copies of a single 12" vinyl , depending on what your requirements are regards album colour , photo sleeve, inner sleeves, album weight etc , it came out at just under 10k . so say it Sold at 25 quid that would be 75k profit . he could do that in each country ... not sure what the last few albums have sold in total but there is definitely money to be made .

I didn't write to Barfagiant. I wrote to Jesse.

Dear Sir
Unfortunately, most peeps are equipped with lightning rods nowadays.
But best wishes.
B.

PS: if that was a dig at Alain's band cuz he has more songs than you, dude, nice-passive aggressive move, I heart, but nobody else noticed.

Of course the problem is the man himself, but if Donnie could make him change his mind. We can only hope.

Because i mean all those poor people that get excited about all that bad smiths and morrissey karaoke all over the internet?? They’re excited because they’re staaaaaarved! And delirious!!!
I’m Morrissey starved and delirious too, but I bet Boulevard would fix it! 😍

This announcement makes me happy 🥰 I am excited to hear the new songs, particularly Alain's contributions!

The whole highest bidder thing is odd...wish I were rich...
