Details of the newly completed album 'Without Music the World Dies', plus news that Capitol Records has terminated their contract with Morrissey.

I don’t even feel excited about this. How long ago was it that we first heard that ‘Bonfire’ had been recorded? 3 years ago now? All this is irrelevant until he either decides to self-release or finds a label that he can get along with long enough to actually release an album.

This is never going to see the light of day. No record company will touch him after the fiasco that was his recent (non)signing with Capitol.
As for a private investor..? They’d end up spending more on legal fees dealing with Morrissey’s bullshit.

How much cash will it take….

"The night pop dropped" could be in response to "the day the music died"
Prediction - knowing Morrissey, this song will not be about the decline of 'pop music', but about someone's father dying. He'll be talking about that kind of 'pop'. I'll put £5 on it now.

I'm on the phone now to Donnie Knutson. Am using my best Withnial voice "I am a multimillionaire and private investor of the type you seek. Forward me the song files immediately for review, I want them here and I want them now and then you will hear back from me in the morning. - good day!"

Pigalle is famous for being a tourist district, with many sex shops, theatres and adult shows on Place Pigalle and the main boulevards. The neighbourhood's raunchy reputation led to its Second World War nickname of "Pig Alley" by Allied soldiers.

It's a bit bizarre that they have again, like "Bonfire," announced the song titles etc so soon after recording. Usually this is the kind of thing that happens when the album is actually coming out, and the release date etc is set. Don't they understand basic promotional techniques? It all feels very slapdash and amateurish...
