man, all the kill uncle hating... I still think it's a great album, my 1st or 2nd favorite depending on my mood. songs like driving your girlfriend home, king leer, mute witness... so good!

don't think so

quarry has fotgtd, ibeh, ykicl, cbtc... kill uncle is a sweet thing but it's really pretty weak in terms of songs.

2-Southpaw Grammar (Most under-rated album in the world ever)
3-Vauxhall & I ( a tad over-rated if you ask me, just a tad mind. Still bloody great though)
4-Kill Uncle (Simply wonderful)
5-You are the Quarry (A cracking little pop record - fun)
6-ROTT (Keep your eyes on this on folks, its on its way up the charts)
7-Viva Hate (Dunno why this is here - probaly because i don't listen to it as much as the others)

12-Maladjusted (Some good tracks, but on the whole a poor effort)

Regarding ROTT, when I first heard To Me You Are A Work Of Art, I find it OK until the chorus, where I quickly skipped to the next track. But I Bit the bullet and listened all the way through, and now I can't stop singing it to myself. Its amazing. The bass is great, and the guitar break bit about 2/3 of the way through is playing on a constant loop in my head. I expect this album to get to at least number 4 in the lsit above. I find it hard to think of anything that will displace the top three).

I also wish that he had recorded that Bona Drag studio album, and released an albums worth of Boxers stuff. Those two would surely be at the top of my list.

I like Kill Uncle alot, as an album it sounds great. I can't help listening to it all the way through whenever I play one track

No indeed, I love Kill Uncle as well. (It also lasts almost exactly the same length of time it takes for me to drive to work). I'd put southpaw higher up the list, though. Quarry is a smashing album, and Maladjusted definetely is at the bottom of the pile. I see Your Arsenal and Vauxhall as interchangeable on that list, depending on mood. I just can't list the albums like that. I mean what about Bona Drag or My Early Burglary Years as compilations or even World of Morrissey with all the boxers stuff - I'd listen to these any day before Maladjusted. And just to contradict myself the songs Maladjusted and Trouble loves me are two of my favourites. ROTT is just confusing me at the moment. Really badly. The songs I hated on my first listen have turned out to be some og my favourites. I still can't decide if its good or great.
