Well, I finally attended 10 Morrissey shows (well almost) and have been keeping a tally on how each show compared to the others. I would be interested to hear other people's impressions of any of these shows.

They Are:
10) Las Vegas 10/7/1999 (cancelled)
9) Seattle 10/3/1997
8) San Francisco 12/10/1999
7) Las Vegas 12/19/1999
6) Coachella 10/9/1999
5) Portland 2/2/2000
4) San Francisco 12/11/1999
3) Seattle 2/3/2000
2) Vancouver 10/2/1997
1) Las Vegas 12/20/1999

I ranked the shows based on setlist, quality of performance, my proximity to Morrissey and how comfortable I was during the show. It's interesting to note that I wore the same shirt to all of my top 6 shows, but none of the other ones. I swear that shirt has mystical properties!

You are so lucky..i've only been to a handful of his shows and each one had a horrible opener.

some people have way too much time on their hands

What's your point? Your glory days are farther behind you than mine?

No, I'm just kidding... certainly I would like to have seen Morrissey on earlier tours, but it just never happened. I'm not really complaining though. His voice and mood are better than ever.

I find it funny that there are no shows previuos to 97?
Am I old??? I went to a few shows (3) when Kill Uncle came out and another around Your Arsenal. then 2 for Maladjusted, and 3 for Oye Esteban 99.
apart from Coachella which was quite good, those earlier shows were FAR superior to the latest. - the only BIG difference is the inclusion of the Smiths stuff, but, he was singing stuff like Sunday, Playboys, Suedehead, Hairdresser, November, That's Entertainment, Interesting Drug, etc...
