There aren't any substitutes nowadays for what MTV was once meant to be (the box channel maybe?)... obviously MTV has adopted the perfect cocktail to attract masses: pathetic music and expensive videos (preferrably with good bodies in them, this keeps you from turning the tube off right away).... but really, with all the music available through the internet, who needs the telly/radio for music purposes?
