I hope that means he's coming home, & not just moving up the street to get a better view of 'da hood' innit.

What is the address of his home? Just the street name and number would do?

Thanks,
Steve

Well either they are using old pictures of the house, or he's already moved because the pictures they are using are of a completely empty house.

who is "they"?

oh well. maybe this means that Sanctuary gave him a huge signing bonus and he's getting an even bigger house!

that Morrissey moved back to Manchester.
You can take the boy out of the North, but you can never take the grime filled, poverty stricken, cheeky, flat capped, tight wad charm out of the boy (oh, hang on, that's Yorkshire, not Lancashire)

The company that has his house listed for sale, and no I'm not telling which one.

Looks like it was listed on the 4th but maybe earlier than that. I wonder where he's moving to. In a way I hope he's just moving up, but in another I hope he's moving back home, but damn it I'm selfish and figured some day I'd meet him but if he moves back home not likely so that part of me wants him to just be moving up.

its not yet in the MLS, so it must be recent unless he wanted to do an exclusive listing.

yeah, i know! i mean, does it matter where he lives? of the 5 some-odd years he's lived in LA, i THINK i have gazed but briefly upon his gate, and i'm not even completely sure if that was his place or not....but i guess i like the idea of Moz being located on the same continent!

maybe since that moron David Bret published that book that listed his address, he's been deluged and finally had enough.

Geez I didn't know his address was published. I could see it being tedious to have people constantly at your door.

I found it on the MLS first so it's there, your just missing it or don't have an updated MLS.

Pardon me for being dumb, but how do I access MLS?

I hope this isn't true, unless he's just moving to another part of CA. My old friend from CA moved to Utah, but we recently got back in touch. She's going back home to L.A. for two weeks, so hopefully she can find out something about this.

Btw, her brother is a HUGE fan, goes to the same places he does, and has never run into him..go figure!

i found it with a google search. they had one for los angeles county.

i think our friend lykoswolfe is full of crap in general, so pay no attention to him. if it was listed on the 4th, that's still not enough time for it to pop up in the MLS unless the rules are different in california. its two weeks or a month or something like that.

as a matter of fact, why has only one person seen these supposed "for sale" signs? didn't anyone notice any moving trucks? are the stalkers falling down on the job that much that they missed something like that? moer that likely, the person who started this thread is full of crap also.

First off I'm not male, secondly it is different in every area depending upon the MLS board and how the data is input to that board. In a lot of areas if it took 2 weeks to get to the MLS the entire MLS system would be useless because the vast majority of properties would be sold before they ever showed up on the MLS. The actual listing I found showed the 4th, but it was the update date, hence it could have been listed long before it showed up on the MLS. However seeing as Moz was at home not too long ago the images for the house are of an empty house I'd say the listing is definitely from near the 4th, perhaps a week or so before.

ok, i eat my words now that someone has posted the correct real estate listings...but you did say that you saw it in MLS.

but since my grandmother was in real estate for about 30 years, i know that the agent has a certain amount of time to list the property as their own before it shows up in MLS and letting other agents have a crack at it.

the difference is the commission. if whoever has moz's property listed will get their full commission if they sell it before it shows up in MLS. if another agent manages to sell it afterwards, the two of them split the commission.

Actually the commission split at least in most states is determined by the office not how the listing was discovered and sold. I work with Real Estate offices all over the world, every county, city, state, country... even every office is different. Yes, they do have a certain amount of time before it has to be listed, but they can list it as early as they want and in a lot of areas that is within hours, not days or even weeks.

And yes I did find it on the MLS as well as the company's site that is actually listing the property.

yeah and i'm queen la-tee-da of the planet zirkoid.

i would hate to see the amount of money and time you spend keeping all those licenses current. when do you have time to sell anything?

what agent willingly cuts their percentage on a $2 million dollar house by running it up to the MLS before they had to?

I never said I was an agent. I said I work with Real Estate companies all over the world, not that I listed property, sold property, etc. etc. etc.

Depending upon where you are at (geographically) having it on the MLS or not does not effect your commission.

Here is the listing...

Its public info now and the house is empty so the there need be no secrecy, i think.

Morrissey's house

hmmm..

hmm i like that no one has brought up the point that maybe maybe maybe moz is moving because he's grown tired of his fans knowing where he lives and not hesitating to drive up the hill.
