Moz/Smiths songs with youth/aging mentioned?

Michael's Bones were very young...

You silly old man...Get Off the Stage

Cause people like you make me feel so old inside...Margaret on the Guillotine

Children in Pieces maybe?

erm...I know there's more...

"It's time to tell the tale, of how you took a chlid and you made him old.
Reel around the fountain.

"Climb up on my knee sonny boy, although you're only three sonny boy"
The hand that rocks the cradle.(Al Jolson got there first)

"In a river the colour of lead , imerse the baby's head"
This night has opened my eyes.

"Unruly boy....unruly girl..."
Barbarism begins at home.

With meths on their breaths
And you with youth on your side
A plastic bag stranded at the lights
This once was me ..

- Sisterama

Sixteen, clumsy and shy.
I went to London and I
Booked myself in at the YWCA"

Schoolgirl is denied - Rusholme Ruffians

People who are young and alive - There Is A Light

He killed a policeman when he was thirteen

Every sensible child will know what this means'

You are all so clever! I knew that age was prominent in his lyrics.
It's amazing how this theme is prevalent from the beginning to the present.
Here's a bit of a stretch but my birthday is at the end of the month, so perhaps I have been obsessing:
May the lines sag heavy and deep tonight-
Unhappy Birthday
But like Moz, I will not Botox!

'A nine year old who pedels drugs, I swear to God I never even knew what druge were' The Queen is Dead

'Back at the old grade school, I would win and you would lose' You've Got Everything Now

Mabye we should work out how many songs mention death!!!I can not think of another artist (in pop) who mentions it more yet makes you feel so young and alive in the way he deals with it head on.

That thread would be like the Frink thread, thousands of entries!
As he so eloquently puts it:
In the midst of life we are in death etc. OR if I have been to the shops recently, I prefer:
In the midst of life we are in debt etc.
