Morrissey's Drug use????

anyone here know if the mozzer has ever gotten into illegal drugs?

i know some of the smiths are/were addicts, did morrissey use anything when he was a smith or solo?

if he did, what did he use and how frequently?

what abouts gary day?

i've heard rumors that morrissey dabbled in some soft drugs in his pre-smiths days, but, as far as i know, he was staunchly anti-drug from then on out. part of why andy was kicked out of the band was because he was tarnishing the smiths drug-free image. i don't know about gary day. i've heard he likes to carouse a bit, but i always assumed that meant he liked drink, not drugs.

He admitted doing ecstacy. Said it made him look in the mirror admiring himself.

He has done E and of course there have been long and persistent rumours about Moz's fondness for prescription drugs.

He admitted using prescribed drugs for his depression during The Smiths period in the lastest documentary (and maybe he still uses them today).
but those really aren't the drugs you were interested in.

He mentioned it in a Q interview in the early 90s around when "Your Arsenal" came out. The implication was that he tried it once.

There is much more harm done by prescription drugs than any other drug except alcohol.

Gary Day..Gary's every day? maybe its a code name. Or maybe its only where I live where ecstasy tablets are known as "Garys" or "Tonys".
