The 150 Worst Albums Made By Men
144. Morrissey, Years of Refusal

List also includes
79. Radiohead, Kid A
It's a good record and not even the "worst" Radiohead. Similarly, Morrissey has worse records than Years of Refusal but maybe the writer hasn't heard them.
List has records by The Cure, Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Yung Lean, Kanye West and over a hundred others.

Thanks Calamine!
Is it already that time of year, I mean Christmas, so all the lists starts creeping up?
And why stick to 150?
Let's make it 1000, so no one escapes! :D

The Cure "The Cure" was honestly worse than Mood Swings. Mood Swings could have made a decent EP if they'd cut the crap.

Next list will be the worst albums made by white men with Vanilla Ice coming in as Number 1.

I admire you for being able to link a bands album title with which songs were on it. I haven't got the slightest clue and would have to google it.

Unless you had a listen the other day?

I'm not convinced this list is meant to be taken 100% seriously. They've put Sgt Pepper's in there, for goodness sake.

I think it went something like:

- Years of Refusal by Morrissey.
- Is that really his shittest one thought.
- No, there's another but I can't think of the title. Come on. We're only six away from being able to go home.
- OK. Years of Whatever it is then.

I've been listening to that Bon Iver record for twenty minutes and I like it. It definitely doesn't deserve to be on a list with Limp Bizket.

116. Warrant, Cherry Pie
115. Prince, The Rainbow Children
114. The Crystal Method, Tweekend
113. Bon Iver, For Emma, Forever Ago
112. Soulja Boy, iSouljaBoyTellEm
111. Duran Duran, Thank You
110. Gene Simmons, Gene Simmons
109. Neil Young, Are You Passionate?

I don't know that Neil Young record but I have a hard time believing it's worse than Gene Simmons or Soulja Boy.

and

104. The Beatles, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band
103. Vanilla Ice, Bi-Polar
102. Russell Crowe & The Ordinary Fear of God, My Hand, My Heart

lol

Vanilla Ice is on there but the Vanilla Ice of the 2000's, Kid Rock, made number 1.

Yeah, he was truly awful in more ways than one. Vanilla Ice tune ice ice baby was used on swedish radio for years as a Friday celebration tune. The people in the studio were all up for another weekend and celebrated by playing that tune at about 8 in the morning.

I worked back then and had radio on in earplugs from my mobile sitting at various machines or doing deliveries with the company truck.

Agree.
Disintegration is a masterpiece.

That album arrived when I started buying the NME on a regular basis and even subscribed to it. It always reminds me of that Cure fan girl working in the kiosk where I bought the NME with her wearing a Cure shirt and me wearing a Smiths or Moz shirt.

We were like cats and dogs but also threw interested glances at each other.

LOL

I stopped listening to them after "Mixed Up" so I don't know. I like Disintegration and Pornography but not really a fan.
I quite enjoyed Bloodflowers and Wish, but yeah, they kind of fizzled apart from the live show a long time ago. They played two new songs when I saw them last year, but they weren't very memorable ones.

I can't remember what I had for lunch two days ago, but I can recall all sorts of useless trivia at a moment's notice. It's a pretty useless skill to have most of the time.

I am the same but even though I listened to that and many other albums I would struggle to name what songs are on them except for a few of course.

And it's like a concept record about quitting. If they would have quit then they could still reform every few years and do a massive reunion tour but they would have a much better place in history I think. I think people put that record down because it's got a couple of pop hits but I like the whole record. I am not even mad that they sold a song for advertising.

You should try on Wish and Bloodflowers for size. They sound better to me, farther removed from the time they were released, and now that I'm older, some of the themes resonate more with me. There are some bad songs on each, but there are some really good ones as well. The title track of Bloodflowers, in my opinion, is up there with the classics.

i love the atmosphere of bloodflowers. it reminds me of something... creates a space inside my head, of a time and place ive never known. i dont think there's a bad song on it, though 'the loudest sound' is probably my favourite, and 'watching me fall' probably my least favourite.
