Morrissey discovered the Thrills, sort of. They supported him at RAH in September 2002? jesus was it that long ago? Maybe 2003? Anyway,the Dead 60s supported Moz on the 2004 tour, and then the Dead 60s supported The Thrills when they played Manchester and they mentioned Morrissey/manchester music etc etc.

Not sure which one Daniel is either, I think Conor is the singer.

Serious question, whats wrong with the Thrills? I only listen to music post 2000 that my niece handpicks and I ain't never heard them live or t'otherwise!

They're not great, The Thrills.
The lead singers voice grates after one or two songs and one can only take so much West Coast/Beach Boys influences.
Unless, of course, it's HAL we are talking about. A much better proposition.

Why?? Johnny's shown with his last few Healer's discs and that monstrocity called "electronic", that he sucks. Get off his nuts, he's been NOTHING since the Smith's breakup. The best thing for him, Rourke and Joyce to do would be to fly to L.A., offer morrissey anything to "reunite" with them. That's the ONLY way they would regain any sort of 'credibility" again.

By the way, the Thrills SUCK. Morrissey's probably only "working with them" because he needs people to carry the bands equipment around.

yeah, i doubt it's them. again: are The Thrill's audience offensive to good standards? I couldn't even identify them unless someone pointed them out to me. as a matter of fact, if you put the band in a crowd and asked me to choose who was who, i'd probably pick the fat old bald guy out to be the lead singer first because that's how little i'd notice them.

i'm sure they're not bad people. i've tried listening to their CD and i just really didn't care.

i say that mozzer should work with Of Montreal just because they're my band of the moment.
