so I checked it and couldn't stop laughing - just brilliant!

For me it's the thread of the year :D

I went for the artwork, there are some true talents on here!

Kewpie, is there going to be awards for individual forum members?
Such as biggest bootleg contributor, funniest forum member etc.?

    Love PTxx.

The linecrasher thread has some great poetry like my 'LineCrashers of the World Unite' and there is also 'That's How People Queue Up' as well.

Arguments, accusations, ADAM, can't go wrong with that thread at all.

Plus I'm still ticked at a few of them smeggin crashers as it is.

Some haikus for people I've met on this board or talked to this year -
    ----
    You have kissed me twice,
Still you deny, and love him -
    Who will not answer.
    ----
    Gold lame' shirt shines
    I'll remember groovy times,
    Suave Nip/Tuck extra.
    ----
    You are still ill babe,
Pay up the money you owe -
    Karma, cursed with woe.
    ----
    Purple sweater girl,
I watch you on the youtube -
    You I'd like to twirl.
    ----

great year everyone I look forward to another year of pot-stirring, romance, intrigue, meaningless bickering, and hopefully it will go on forever....

After posting the initial solicite thread on off-topic, sadly I didn't get positive feedbacks and suggestions, decided that annual polls will be following three categories:

    - Best Smiths/Morrissey cover version

    - Morrissey Drama of the Year

    - Morrissey-Solo Thread of the Year

    http://forums.morrissey-solo.com/showthread.php?t=80009

Unfortunately people come and go, hard to keep the same sense of community on the forums. :o

Please vote Best Smiths/Morrissey cover version 2007 poll on Other Music forum if you haven't voted it yet.
Thank you very much for your participation. :)

Love the Top 100 thread. Gives me the motivation to listen to songs I'd forgotten, and then read others analyses, fun stuff:)
Especially loved The Hand That Rocks The Cradle one, that song is loads creepier than I'd remembered as a young teen!

Errr...actually this poll has both best and worst. :p

Initially I thought about individual best and worst thread of the year polls, but decided to have it in one.

Top 100; I have enjoyed this thoroughly and will be sad to see it end!

Close seconds for me were artwork, LOLMozzers, and My Mother on Morrissey.

I think trey's crush on me should count as Romance of the Year. (It's hard to find someone who loves me more than me, but here we are. Again.) It's good to know someone cares.

That poor Jay Tando, I'd feck the teeth out of his mouth. So you're in a long line, bucko.

And Mozgrll is one hot piece of woman. I'd almost (and have almost) switch(ed) for that.

So you'd better get your priorities straight, or I shouldn't be drinking this much vodka on a Sunday night. Which is it?

I'd just like to point out that after having a one hour conversation with my mother-UN-law (because homosexual marriage is ILLEGAL) that I have obviously had too much vodka on a Sunday night. (3 Brand kids -- it's made from SOY, so Morrissey and Al Gore would approve!)

  16. As much as I love many of these threads, I had to go with the "Mother on Morrissey" one just because it managed to survive a pretty determined effort to derail it into off-topic oblivion, and the anecdotes are priceless.

Honorable mentions go to the "Dear god..." thread because, as was stated elsewhere, it was quite revealing (too much so, in some cases), as well as to the Hair thread, because it embodies what a fan forum should be.
