The new song (not single) from the Manic Street Preachers features Richard Hawley on vocals. The song is a gtolden majestic thing of melancholic beauty. Morrissey went on to write some great songs with Whyte and Boorer but this lastes effort from Hawley makes me wonder what could have been if Morrissey has said, "Carry on singing" at that audition that Hawley went along to. Nicky recently said in a interview that he would have liked to have hung around with Morrissey.
