it's the only link I can find to the song. it strikes me that it was a very odd period for the big fella.
no longer bounding about the stage like a sprightly young thing, but yet to adopt the Elvis Presley stage mannerisms of more recent years.
bit of a shame as it is (without a doubt) one of his finest ever songs - definitely the greatest Morrissey/Whyte composition...
 
I love it too. I always think of 'We just can't wait to make more mistakes' when I f*** up. Plenty more to it than that though. Cheers for that, enjoyed it.
 
And I thought it was only me that thought this one of the finest songs ever written.
 
How strange that this was a b-side to Dagenham Dave. If he had just switched the a-side with the b-side, making 'Nobody Loves Us' the single, he would have been much more successful while essentially selling the same songs.

Dagenham Dave would have been a pleasant yet understandable b-side.
