Wikipedia is full of wrong info, and whoever wrote that did not provide any source, and, as you've noticed, it contradicts his latest statement on the Russell Brand interview. Besides, as far as I know, Morrissey never said anything about being a vegan. Therefore I've just removed it from the Wikipedia entry.
