Was just about to post a pic. He's gone back to Your Arsenal-era lamé with the latest V shirt!

Remember back in sepia-tone yesteryear when parents would dress their toddlers up like little sailors for some reason? That's what Morrissey's V shirts remind me of this tour.

Loved it. He looked and sounded great and seemed very happy and energetic. Beautiful green/blue hue to his shirt. Really wish I could make the NYC show....

This is funny. Reminds me of the Your Arsenal tour with the gold lame shirt and jeans. I like the jeans look better. He must of been advised to dress younger for the crowd. Glad he got rid of those white sweatpants. Anonymous-

No, you were not alone in wishing the guitar wasn't drowning out his vocals. All in all though... A great performance. I mean he had some time to kill while in New York... Why not make an appearance on American television? Promoting a single and a tour is something to be proud of imho...

Yeah. I mean there are horns and castanets and that kind of almost rattlesnake percussion thing in that song at least, and there was nobody there playing them. I think that's not unusual these days to keep the headcount down on stage and keep things simpler. What I'm interested in is to what degree they let the people who are actually there actually play the instruments in situations like this vs. miming to prerecorded tracks. I watched it a few times trying to figure out if Boz was actually playing his guitar for real. Plus he (Boz) would sometimes pull his mouth away from the mic before he was finished singing his backing lines, which is often a lipsync clue. Not that Moz was syncing.

Moz looked like he was having fun and was excited at the end with his big "GRACIAS!" I'm glad he got this exposure.

[Edit: though with the whole Roots band there just off camera, with a horn section and all kinds of other stuff, could they have been helping out? Do they do that?]

The Roots often accompany the musical guest. But when they do, they are shown on camera.

Please get over the shirt being to bold for Morrissey. What do you want him to put on ...... the same thing as the rest of the band ? Yes, the more formal suit look is very nice on him but he has already did that back in the 2000s . When he was with The Smiths some of the shirts he picked to wear were quite odd for the times .
