me too handinglove,dont see why people don't like all the young people,i think its great,these songs will sound much better once joe has worked his magic on the album.

I liked All the Young People from the BBC session and here. A couple small things didn't work for me, but it's a really unique track in Morrissey's solo career I think. As with the others, looking forward to polished production. The live renditions will also get better as the year goes on. Spent the Day is already polished and shiny. Grown on me massively.

I find it interesting that his impulse was to deride the person sending the message, and not support for the message itself. He could have simply replied "Well, of course." Instead, it made him look antagonistic towards the message in general.

More people should push back at his shows when he's starts banging on about all of this. He's bound to let the mask slip further at some point. He hates explaining himself. He likes the bully pulpit.

People’s views can evolve over time. Not everone stands steadfast to some old persuasion or another despite everything.

Having watched the live stream and the incident with the girl shouting in particular, I didn’t come away with the impression that he ‘derided’ her. He was being tongue in cheek and sarcastic - at least that’s how I interpreted it. Maybe someone else can clarify. But it sort of fit in with the WPINOYB sort of vibe and I think that’s what he was getting at.

I’m not a serial Moz apologist but I think you’re giving him short shrift here

Yeah I'm the same re I Wish You Lonely. I don't know if it's the melody or what but I'll be skipping that one a few times I'd say. All The Young People Must Fall In Love is a grower too. Home Is a Question Mark is f***ing gorgeous!
