Moriss? Hai. Dunno if DD told you (probably not, as he's useless):
cruise ships are hiring. :)

While going through social media for posts for the last 4 shows, I saw quite a few people saying they were going to all 5 nights of this.

Hey, if anyone's interested, tickets going for $59 now, as low as $47 on one date. They will probably get even lower as the dates come up!

Here's a link on why some artists play Vegas... probably getting moved to off-topic but Vegas kind of makes sense?.... https://www.theguardian.com/music/2...acy-and-money-why-adele-is-going-to-las-vegas

For someone like Adele it probably does, 24 nights with the whole capacity sold out, not so sure for Morrissey as there's only 75% of the capacity being made available and to date there's only about 50% of the tickets sold, surely it would have been better to play 2/3 nights to a sold out venue.

The Vegas/American Dream.... It is a mystery and your opinion is of logic. 🙏

I think the post Quarry model was always moving this way. Sinatra /Elvis were the late-career models
Due to M's image being partly an ironic twist on pop culture this works. Vegas is both a natural fit and M taking over a naff played-out entertainment model- the realist in the land of the fake

I myself am excited about this current Vegas stint and I thought the Vegas residency before was quite moving- the first outing since his mum's death. It provided a nice venue for fans to wish him well.
I'm hoping this stint, will be him, saying a "thank you" , and starting the journey into a new stage of his career, offering new songs, Then I hope he is less restrained and rips Vegas apart with a series of shows that puts back on the map. Then never goes back to Vegas again

It's so sad to watch an artistic poet like M, end up becoming a played-out Vegas "performer".
Its such a soulless way to go out
I think he would be better served mixing his old gigging ways with the residency approach
So, like I said before 3 nights in LA 3 nights in San Fran, 3 nights in NY. x 3 nights in Austin
and so on

Enjoy tonight's performance, those who will be at the opening show in Vegas. For me, it's just another film on replay, this time 'Hell' with Guillaume Canet, for English me. I have to wait for the autumn. Expecting videos on YouTube to greet me when I awaken tomorrow morning!!!

It would be hilarious if loads of ex-soldiers take him up and he plays 'I Bury the Living'.
