Loosely based on Morrissey and other charming fops and poets, Sylvester presented a collection heavy on embroidered white shirts, chunky cardigans and librarian-length pencil skirts, which were teamed with men’s loafers.
The New Zealand designer wisely recruited her country’s star fashion stylist Karen Inderbitzen-Waller to amp up the manish vibe of more feminine tiered dresses in sorbet colours, which she did with fob chains and floppy cravat-style bows tied at the neck..."
