Morrissey in the Harrogate Arms - The Stray Ferret (March 31, 2023)

Excerpt:

Former Smiths frontman turned solo artist Morrissey was spotted out in Harrogate last night.

The singer-songwriter enjoyed a couple of pints in the Harrogate Arms pub and was happy to pose for photos with a handful of fellow drinkers who recognised him.

Chris Russell, who runs Zombie Clothing in Knaresborough, happened to be in the pub at the time and was surprised to see someone so famous.

He said:

“I was just having a beer and he was gracious enough to pose for a pic.”
The visit was also a surprise to staff at the pub. Manager Pete Murphy said:

“We only had four or five tables in, so it wasn’t busy, but a few people recognised him and had photos with him.
“We get the odd Leeds player in, but that’s the first singer I’ve seen. I’ve been running the pub just over a year now.”

Luffly! When he's not rushing around tied to a schedule, he seems pleased for fans to say hello. He told the cautionary tale of how he once saw James Baldwin out somewhere and always regretted not going over to pay respects.

He looks so happy and healthy! Can anyone identify the shoes/boots, the watch and the bracelets?
Looks like an Omega Seamaster (Nothing overtly flash or expensive), not sure on the other items

It never fails to amuse me how trolls make great efforts to post anti-Morrissey rants on this forum, usually under the aggregated guise of Anonymous (such is their haste to respond, they can’t be bothered thinking up a nom de guerre) and, despite such ‘withering’ hatred, still feel aroused enough to spend a portion of their evening firing off angry missives.

HE WON’T SHAG YOU.

And another lucky local. I reckon none of them "Fans", but just know who he is.

Ooh! I like that pose he’s striking, would be good on an album cover, if one ever materialized, lol.

I guess going to the pub can be considered a kind of ‘aquatic adventure’. :lbf:
