From News of the World, June 20th showbiz pages, one of those articles where they can't say who it is for legal reasons:

"This dour singer has convinced the world he's gay, but a female music journalist tells a very different story...and it involves a hairbrush. What a charming man."

Goodness.

I saw that! I was wondering how long it would take before tha tabloids started......

I'm not convinced he's gay. But, I do know that he is quite secure with his sexual identity - much more than the average Jo gives him credit for; Probably because their own hang-ups prevent them from seeing this.

Eveyone not British think British people are gay. WHY, i don't know...

I think it's the way you talk, Shadowplay. I'm Italian and I had an english teacher (American) who once told me: "if you want to talk like Americans do try to imitate Donald Duck, if you wanna talk like English do try to act gay".
P.S. I'm female.

That is a riot. I've never heard that before. I think an American acting British might appear gay; but, most British - celebrities at least - don't seem gay to me. Colin Firth and Hugh Grant are two examples. I think some gay Americans talk "lisppy" - more like a duck than a Brit.

The thing is, he's never said he was gay, or straight, or anything.

No, but he did say he was celibate.
