Oh my that is adorable. And I told myself I would take a break tonight and not come on here. I'm glad I didn't listen to myself. Add me as another fan of the cardigan (and Scarlet - great explanation why).

She looks nice, but still I wonder now, due to the facial proportion thing, if this is what mainly attracted him to her. In any case they look like a cute couple, but just anybody at Morrissey's side seems to suit him, photographer, baby...
Almost looks as if Years of Refusal is his break up from her album.
I have wondered why people spend so much time fuzzing about people with whom they lack this natural attraction and it has led me to say that if you meet somebody, either it is there or it is not, if it is not there mutually.... The picture looks like he had it with this lady. I had such a natural attraction again with a guy at a concert in December, unfortunately he was married with two kidsand I had little in common with him apart from being a bit too chatty maybe. He behaved as if he had known me for ages already. Maybe I reminded him of somebody? I have often wondered about this natural attraction and what it is, where it is coming from. Obviously I need to pay more attention to whether or not these people look anything like me.

I don't think they are/were a couple, it doesnt look natural enough.
I'm SURE i've seen her somewhere before.

She's just a fan, I think. From what I hear of him meeting people in non-concert settings, this is typical of him. He's quite a dear when he wants to be.

I can't speak for everyone else, but for me the cardigan is all part of his I'm-not-really-sexy disguise. The glasses too. Just one more layer to peel away before you get to his pink nakedness. Cardigans and glasses make you look meek and average, but on someone like him who is anything but meek and average, it just highlights the fact that he's sexy and extraordinary.
Plus, it means he's never really changed from the boy he was when I first encountered him.
Like you guys I love the cardigan and jeans combo...it's TOO HOT!!
I think you hit the nail on the head Scarlet about there being one more layer to peel away...like peeling a banana!...just imagine undoing those buttons

That's interesting. To me this looks totally natural.
Good that we spoke about it. Interesting how perceptions can differ. Leaves me a bit puzzled though, because it makes me wonder what natural would look like to you then.
Scarlet, my mother said, when I told her about this, that maybe he has another in every city like the sailor of his backdrop in every harbour. So he is actually this affectionate on a regular basis? Better not tell her and support her theory.
It might look natural on another human, but knowing what we know of Morrissey, it just looks awkward.

I don't see it as affection in a romantic way. It's fan affection. When I met Johnny Marr he held my hand and randomly hugged me. Fan-love. They gots it.
