Ok so this Morrissey's scat on Drive-in Saturday thread has got me listening to the end of that song over and over again...does anyone else find his singing on the end of that song extremely sexy or is it just me? Especially when he sings "yes sir, yes sir!" I would give my right leg to see him sing that live.

I love the original too. In fact, it's quite bizarre, because I found out that Morrissey was releasing a cover of it only a few hours after I fell in love with the original.

What's the matter is that the frink thread has come to an all time low by certain people making certain comments. It's become derogitory...all diginity and respect for Moz seem to have gone out the window by some...he's not a piece of meat! It's actually embarrasing to read things said on here now...how ridiculous it must sound to a passerbyer. No there is nothing wrong with a fleshly desire, but for it to be basically spelled out on here is just not right. It's not the right place. I use to really enjoy coming on here, and I still do plainly for Moz, that's all. Not for conversation. Some feel that it's okay to talk about him like he's our own property. But in reality, it's not. The wholesomeness and dignity/respect of this thread and the person it's about is sadly gone.

The only word I can think to describe this thread, is: DEROGITORY.

Well I for one am glad that someone finally said it! It's one thing to say that you would like to lick Morrissey's neck and of course we all like to see him topless, but sharing that you would like to lick his neck (you all know who you are....lottie) and saying these derogitory comments toward Morrissey with certain smilies followed is completely a lack of disrespect for the man. If the frink thread continues down this path I will refuse to be a part of it, I will not sit and watch my hero treated in such a way...which is a shame cause I was once proud to be known as a frinker, and I would gladly take a sign that said something about the frink to a gig but now I would think twice, im just emarrassed.
Now come on everyone lets all have some respect for the man, and keep it semi-clean in here huh!

I already added my 2 cents on this when westendgirl posted that. Anyway, I do think that you, just like almost everyone else "in here", have treated your hero "in such a way" yourself too. Who hasn't (more or less)? I hardly think that anyone who's a frequent poster in this thread can exclude theirselves from this general "reproach" (that I do partially very much second, as you can read a few pages back). Wrong choice of words is one thing, but I don't think that anyone here does not have a whole lot of respect for Morrissey.
