Whilst waiting for YOR to be released, also deanadshead was asking for a good quality soundboard of songs off the new album, and for those interested, here is Mama Lay Softly On The Riverbed from the Wireless festival.
I see some like to have wav/flac files.
This is a flac file, from the original broadcast bitstream on digital satellite TV. (mpeg audio Dolby Digital 2.0 384kbps). It is from an uncompressed wav (70mb), using exact audio copy to convert to flac (method Smiths Torrent, hopefully correct)
It is average 1016kbps,44khz.
For future reference what attributes do you prefer for these wav/flac files, I am no techno geek so keep it simple please.
(Previous stuff on my post was ripped from original broadcast straight to mp3).
O2 Say You Don't Love Me (cover), from uncompressed wav 24bit to flac av. 1026kbps, comp.ratio 72%.
Not one for the new album I know, I'd like a studio version, really suits his matured/enriched voice (I think anyway), he very rarely sings out of tune, unlike others, therefore never disappoints.
