These new tour dates follow the critically acclaimed performances of Morrissey’s recent U.S. Tour in Autumn of 2019 with special guests Interpol. The 30 date tour drew large crowds and received rave reviews across the country.

This new limited run of shows, set to kick off the launch of the ‘I Am Not A Dog On A Chain’ album, promise to be not-to-be missed affairs if reaction to Morrissey’s 2019 U.S. dates is any indication. Press who covered the U.S. Autumn tour raved about the powerful performances as some of Morrissey’s best ever, while continually commenting on the strength of his “ageless” vocals.

Overpriced, as usual! I'll be interested to see whether or not they do fly off the shelves. Perhaps with his playing so few shows they might but I wouldn't put money on it, not after what happened last time.

Take your point re; prices, but I do expect them to fly; sadly, the number of opportunities to go see Moz are getting fewer & fewer as he gets older, & many genuine fans won't want to miss out.
Guess you're referring to cancellations of the past, in your latter part?

I wanted to write the news about on Ticketmaster listed Leeds and London, and in short was stated Cologne and Paris,

I'm sure very soon a whole March April European Tourdates [including UK,Scotland,Ireland] will be announced

His last UK tour was a huge success too, with 22,000 tickets sold in London alone. So I expect these to sell out soon, too.
The Paris and Cologne ones are smaller sized venues, so they will sell out soon, too.

PRAISE FOR MORRISSEY’S LATEST U.S. TOUR

“Imagine being hit by the world’s most beautiful fist. That’s what the night felt like. I don’t know if the blow came from the left. And I don’t know if the blow came from the right. But I do know I’ll be cherishing the black-and-blue for the rest of my life."

- Flaunt 10.28.19

"His pitch-perfect vocals filled the arena with ease and there wasn't an off note to be heard."-NBC San Diego 10.15.19

“In fine form and with an excellent voice, Morrissey dramatically captivated the crowd throughout the evening, whipping his microphone cord to punctuate movements and crooning dramatically when appropriate.”- Music Connection 10.11.19

“For nearly two hours Morrissey turned in a spirited performance that culled material from his solo albums, and several covers from this year’s California Son. Far from an aging rocker desperately trying to recapture the passion of his youthful performances, Steven Patrick Morrissey has actually improved. His voice has deepened and grown stronger with age.” - Riff Magazine 10.4.19

At age 60, Morrissey is the rare singer whose voice is actually getting better with age.” - Dallas Morning News 9.18.19

"In fine form and excellent voice, Morrissey was every inch a performer, dramatically whipping his microphone cord to punctuate movements and crooning dramatically when appropriate. For a night of deeply intellectual and thoughtful pop music, Morrissey has no peer."-Parklife DC 9.06.19

They missed all that other praise for Morrissey - you know, the stuff from the Nazis. I reckon they should put that on the posters and promo too.

yeah with a new single with Thelma Houston, you start with the N word, because the R word would be laughable, as it always has, concerning Morrissey is a R******, with latino bandmembers past years.

Oh just f*** off you idiot...next thing you'll be wanting 'as not endorsed by skinny' on them just to get your 2 mins of 'fame'...f***ing narcissist bigot.
Who the f*** do you think you are?
You really are the biggest arsewipe I've ever come across.

Is that bloke skinny really as thick as he comes across? Jeezzuss wept.

Hmmm you really are getting desperate , aren't you? He is clearly not a racist, so now you mention Nazi's, like some ill-informed, moronic sixth-former. Have some fecking self-respect you giant twat.

Pre-sale info. via marketing email (shorter version of the press release):

Which links to some interesting small print:

The pre-sale begins at 09:00 GMT on Tuesday 21st January 2020 and the general sale for tickets begins at 09:00 GMT on Friday 24th January 2020.

Pre-ordering the album provides access to pre-sale tickets and is not a guarantee of tickets.

Which then links to a mailing list sign up.
It would appear the 'Townsend Music' site is the name behind TMstor.es - although that wasn't made very clear from the outset.

the only thing worst than being banned from the shows is not being banned from the shows for skintflintskinny.edg

What, they actually reported this as actual news, with no historic, archive cut & paste nasty regurgitations therein?
New years resolution for 2020 right there in action!!

I was surprised, even in an article that short, not to see 'controversial' or 'disgraced' before his name.

Let's just hope his imp of the perverse keeps itself under control until after the shows.

See you in Leeds skinny!

I really hope skinny does attend; I'd love to, & I suspect many others would like to, make his 'acquaintance'.
It'd make my night. Really. So much so, I'm thinking of getting 2 tickets; one for him, one for me.
People would be queuing up to 'meet' him. That could be more of an event than the Moz concert, for which I'd charge people. Big kerching.

I think it might have been a rush job to get something out fast as they knew it was out there & didn't want to miss out.
