The lack of advance publicity for anything Morrissey releases is astonishing.
It's criminal. Imagine if they done more to promote it - like, oh, I don't know, releasing it for a worldwide cinema showing a month before the DVD release. Loads of people would have heard about 'Live 25' then. What a missed opportunity.

Hope someone can rip the audio!

I'd like to just even get the DVD, but I live in Australia, so I have to wait until 2083 to get it. Meanwhile, still no bookstores in Melbourne stock the autobiography. f***ing country.

Don't know if you saw my reply to you re Oz bookshops.. No stores have it, & said that they have to do a special order, which will arrive 6-8 weeks if lucky...
Best bet is to order online. I got mine for $13 AUD, free shipping.
As for the DVD, I've ordered it from an Oz company, it was like 30 AUD inc shipping. I'll try find the link for you once I'm home if you want?

Amazon for the Biography

as for the DVD got a note from a regio store it's not deliverable, got money back

I think AmaZon does deliver it also, if so, they are very reliable but you have to pay in with creditcard first, but you get the transfermail
your email box , later they even mailed the date of delivery.

general comment

I think we may not be negative, 2 releases in 4/5 days, buy it or not

don't go moan about issues we had a hundred times maybe less maybe more

Good luck Pokey

$13 AUD, free shipping to Aus. It's $1 more now and on pre order again, so maybe they sold out? Not sure. I ordered mine last week, got an email saying its dispatched and will be here in 7 business days.

25 Live DVD:
Fishpond.com.au, mightyape.com.au and JBHIFI have the DVD & Blueray available on pre order. Price varies from $21 -$28 depending on region etc.

Hope that helps :)

I ordered it online, found a bookshop in Melbourne that said it was being sent down from Sydney and would be there on Monday, but that hasn't happened, and I can't see it happening any time soon. The order that I placed online hasn't even been listed as shipped yet, they still say the title is unreleased. ugh. I hate this country.

That's odd.. IDK how it can be shipped from Sydney if they don't have any stock in Oz yet (that's what we've been told by numerous book stores *shrug*). I hope for your sake that it is being shipped from Syd.

We Antipodeans always get the short end of the stick when it comes to Moz, it's bloody stupid :(

Good luck & let us know how you go with the book order . :)

I got told it was being shipped from Sydney by Readings bookstore in Melbourne who are usually great and really reliable with their info and ordering stuff in, guess that wasn't the case though.

Yeah my first thought was to go with bookdepository or amazon, instead I went for booktopia because it was Australian based and I thought it might be delivered faster. That taught me a lesson. I emailed them to cancel my order (which I bet they won't), and then I'll just go bookdepository like you mentioned. Pretty slack that booktopia don't even have it listed as a published book yet.

And yeah I think JB will have it on friday according to their website, which isn't bad really!

Great DVD despite Morrissey being ill. Its a shame that the crowd were absolutely APPALLING!

It should also be noted that there is a sleeve note by Jesse, written in a style that is cloyingly imitative of Morrissey's.
