If Morrissey were a talented young artist trying to get somewhere today he'd have to return to his bedroom and a life of obscurity. The British music scene seems populated only by those with familial connections to the small hats, the rich Eton-educated, or low IQ rappers who can hardly string two coherent words together but act as performing 'jesters' for the masses.

You're American and America is known as a melting pot, even if in practice it is more like an Aparteid country in many areas. But Britain is not America - in fact it's still quite a socialist country in many respects and I don't want it to lose these aspects. For example, cuts in welfare and free services have only happened in earnest since it has been attacked with an overload of immigration. These are simple facts that affect everyone - unless you're a member of the ruling/boss class in which case the cheap labour of mass-immigration makes you richer.

Are you under the delusion that you have some sort of point swimming around in there? None of the artists you mentioned besides Dylan and Lou are Jewish. So their management may be, people at the label may be, but the fact that these artists aren’t disproves the flimsy point you were trying to make in the first place. The whole record industry is predominantly Jewish - so of course if you are a good Jewish boy/girl and talented then you stand a better chance for that reason alone. What's wrong with this presumption? Look at Hollywood and the amount of film stars that are Jewish. It helps. Why wouldn't it?
And yes, in my opinion Leonard Cohen is way over-rated. I actually think he's a good grifter. His novels are awful too. Bob Dylan and Lou Reed are a hundred times better. They're also Jews.
