Morrissey’s autobiography (first edition)

hi, I was searching for morrissey’s autobiography the non-edited edition on the internet and i stumbled upon this one on ebay but Im still kinda confused, it says it’s the first edition so im assuming is not editing anything out but I also read somewhere that all the US edition of the book are edited

But there are people in the reviews section complaining that it has been edited (ie all the homo references taken out - something I find quite extraordinary in this day and age - although... was this at Morrissey's own request?)

It makes no sense because there must be thousands more explicitly homo books out there - those bits were really very subtle, and if anything, more about the emotional relationships he had with men. I'm pretty sure US publishers don't tailor their editorial decisions to please the southern states. If he'd had a record deal at the time (2013) I might have thought it was the record company trying to protect his localised markets, but he didn't. Which makes me wonder if it was actually Morrissey trying to protect his markets (or his 'management'). The whole thing is illogical, because in this global age everybody knew about the homo bits within 24 hours anyway (prompting the famous 'humasexual' claim). And anyone can go online and buy the British edition if they choose.
