More rumours of new dates - Alain to return

The rumours will not go away - I think we can add Manchester to the list below too - here's more information...

Morrissey to embark on 50-city world tour (Rumor)

Rumor: The word on the street is that Morrissey is set to do a 50-city tour commencing in May and ending in October. Cities rumoured to be included are: London, Paris, Dublin, Copenhegan, Hamburg, Berlin, Malmo, Stockholm, Milan & Barcelona and Singapore. Still waiting to hear if the tour includes the USA??? Apparently more festival dates are to be added.

The tour will include a newly envigorated Alain Whyte. Additionally several 'new' songs will make thier public debut.

I'm keeping my ear open for more info so bear in mind that what I've heard so far is just a rumor until I can confirm.

I wish Morrissey et al would hurry up & finalize tour plans so I can plan my trip to the UK & possibly Europe this summer. Air tix from the West Coast, USA to Europe aren't cheap ya know especially when June 11 is not too far off. I guess all of us who "follow" Morrissey knows this is His MO

You can forget about the Isle of Wight - its common knowledge that Morrissey isnt playing.

And the last person who would hear of tour dates would be Slug from Morrissey Tour.

Who is this common knowledge to? Both Morrissey's official sites seem to have this one firmly on his schedule. And surely they wouldn't lug all the kit over to Europe without playing a few other shows?? However, it does seem a bit odd for Morrissey to be touring again so soon without a "New" studio album...ah...hang on a second, I almost forgot about the period 1998-2003!!!!
