Just revealed in the new issue of MOJO are the results of their annual Readers Poll.

Album of the Year - Moz came 3rd, behind Nick Cave 'Abatoir Blues/Lyre of Orpheus' at 2 and Brian Wilson 'Smile' at Number 1

Artist / Band of the Year - Moz was 2nd, behind Franz Ferdinand

Event of the Year - 'Morrissey on Tour' was 2nd, behind the 'Brian Wilson Tour'

It's kind of surprising that our boy did so well, as I wasn't aware that MOJO were particularly sympathetic to his work.
In fact, I seem to recall that they gave YATQ a crappy review and awarded it 2 out of 5.
Oh well, up their's then, and up yours too uncleskinny, cos I know you like to post this kind of crap and are probably rushing home from work to do just that as I type this! LOL!!

the answer is in the question ,they might have given YATQ a not so good review but the poll is by the readers wich goes to show that critics aren't that important ,people know what they like and are rarely influenced by critics.

news like this always puts me in a good mood

and if moz had to come behind anyone, i suppose i'd want that person to be nick cave, my 2nd favorite icon.

i answered your thread before realising that you were having a go at me further down ,sorry i thought you were a genuine fan who just wanted to talk about moz but i guess i was wrong.

Cave's double album was an extraordinary piece of work.
I must admit to being slightly disappointed by Wilson's long-awaited magnum opus.
But of course, Morrissey's was THE release of 2004.
