Ah! Half a page in London's Evening Standard (page 19) on the BB6 Music's 'The Songs That Saved Your Life' poll. Yes, The Smiths top it with "I Know it's Over",winning 18% of the vote. The station describes the top 20 as "the songs you cry along to, the ones you shout at, and the tunes that just make you feel a whole lot better". The poll is part of a mental-health campaign by 6 Music.

Good on them!

I'd include a link but I can't find one....

For me it's always been The Smiths best song......

I knew the result last week as The Smiths were a country mile in front.
But I wasn't allowed to tell anyone.

I change my mind about my favourite Smiths song two or three times a day. But that one's always there or thereabouts. Are you any good at singing it, J?
If I liked bragging I would tell you how brilliant I am at it. But I don't. So I won't.
