Mike Joyce is very knowlegable about his music! The only drummer I knew he liked was out of The Buzzcocks John Maher. Steve Garvey was the bass player (like McGarvey).
The stuff like Outcast 'Hey ya', Sissor Sisters(a bit camp elton john-ish) I think he likes Camp-ness in pop music?, the art rock Roxy music were to his liking 'Love is the Drug' from the album "Siren" 1975. Lou Reed when he left the Velvets and made stuff like "Transformer" in 1972 I love the song 'Walk on the Wild Side' which I think is about the cool transvestite Candy Darling? In 1980 Lou Reed had an album out called "Growing Up In Public". Not 'Growing Up With Vinny Peculiar'.
Maybe he likes some Psychedelic music? Country music? the band Crass?
Maybe he likes Iggy Pop because he is a bit Punk?
BUT I had no idea he knew the singer Robert Plant?? Robert Plant shares his birthday with me Aug 20th we are Leos! Didn't think Led Zep were his bag?

Re: I would love to look like Nico when she was young she was so beautiful!

Here she coMes, you'd better watch your steP !

She's going to break your heart in two,
It's true.

It's not hard to realize,
Just look into her false colored eyes,
She'll build you up to just put you down,
What a clown.

'Cause everybody knows
She's a femme fatale
The things she does to please
She's a femme fatale
She's just a little tease
She's a femme fatale
See the way she walks
Hear the way she talks.

You're written in her book,
You're number thirty-seven, have a look.
She's going to smile to make you frown,
What a clown.

Little boy, she's from the street.
Before you start you are already beat.
She's going to play you for a fool,
Yes it's true.

'Cause everybody knows
She's a femme fatale
The things she does to please
She's a femme fatale
She's just a little tease
She's a femme fatale
See the way she walks,
Hear the way she talks.

'Cause everybody knows
She's a femme fatale
The things she does to please
She's a femme fatale
She's just a little tease
She's a femme fatale
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
She's a femme fatale
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
She's a femme fatale
Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh
She's a femme fatale
Oh ...

Re: Yes I like them! and Andy Warhole is interesting!

Nico did solo work although her voice is not always good but she had quite a strong German accent which came through in her singing she has good atmospher in her music and a sadness lonleyness I like sad lonely sounding music! And whats more she looked amazing! she was a model!
The bass player was John Cale.

Re: ANDY WARHOL! 'Pale Blue Eyes' is a nice song off the Velvet's 3rd album.

I'm a Leo too. Maybe that speaks volumes. Do you have wild unruly hair Andy?

All the Leos I know do.
Robert Plant included. Something to do with the Lion in us.
I did find the tenuous link between Alistair Crowley and Zep by the way.
Jimmy Page bought his mansion in Scotland.
Page has been awarded an OBE I hear.
Let's hope he doesn't accept. Although he's probably too old now to act the rebel.
Then again, surely he doesn't want to share company with Jonathan Ross.

Crowley sounds a complete nutjob.

Has Jonathan Ross got an OBE?

Indeed he has.

Re: Why has he got an OBE? what did he do? all he does is interview people.

Part of the "Old School Tie" philosophy.

The award bestowed upon him by the Queen.

Isn't it laughable?
Have you heard his language and humour?

I'm sure Lizzy is highly amused.

Maybe he's a Freemason and Philip knows him!

Re: Oh maybe Prince Charles knows him? he knows the younger people who are rich. Put in a good word?
