Manchester Music

Re: Yes Davy Jones from the Monkees was born in Manchester!!!

Re: I always thought Bernard Sumner&Peter Hook were from Manchester/Salford??

Ian Curtis and Stephen Morris were from Macclesfield in Cheshire.

Re: Yes the BeeGees were born in Isle of Man but they grew up in Chorlton!!!

They grew up in Greater Manchester so I think of them as a Manchester act!!!

Re: On my A-Z of Manchester/Greater Manchester Wigan and Warrington are not there???

Wigan and Warrington are off the map! and so is Macclesfield of course. But I thought and I might be wrong that Wigan was in Lancashire but not in Manchester??
And Warrington and Macclesfield were in Cheshire??
