Is that what's said at the beginning of "FotGtD"? The first time I heard it I thought "Oh no!". I haven't seen anyone here mention it yet. Is it a line from a film perhaps? It's been used on TV performance of that track too hasn't it? 'Later' I think.

D'you suppose it was used as a device to introduce what the song's about?/ set the scene so that listeners know it's about a LA gang member.

I still think it sounds a bit silly.

I thought so for a long time, no I actually think it says "...you are too ROUGH."
Makes more sense, seeing how the song's about a gang memeber. Makes more sense to me. Try another listen!

Dunno if this counts for anything but "you are too hot" is like from Romeo and Juliet, not too sure where abouts in the play but juliet's dad says it about her or something. somebody got any info? or is it just coincidence?

To me it sounds like "Los Angeles... you rock too hard"
But my hearing's not what it was.

Given the nature of the song, I still think it says you are too rough. Any other listens out there, anyone?

It actually says:
Moz and chillies? - You are too hot!
I know, I was that man.
