Life is a mystery, everyone must stand alone
I hear you call my name
And it feels like home
When you call my name it's like a little prayer
I'm down on my knees, I wanna take you there
In the midnight hour I can feel your power
Just like a prayer you know I'll take you there

He may believe in HIS IDEA of a ‘Christ’ figure, but I can’t imagine Morrissey believing in any church.

His church will always be the stage and the song.

:tiphat::cool:
There’s some truth in what you say. I’ve always seen gigs as my church. The main difference between gigs and a ‘regular’ place of worship being that we go to see/hear/follow a tangible being!

He has been wearing crucifixes around his waist for years!
Purely as a fashion accessory,
since last week on the street in Manchester,
Morrissey and his man slave,
who was carrying shopping bags,
from a snooty store,
walked by a homeless man asking for change, not helping or acknowledging in any way.

the the ugliness of Morrissey
know no bounds theses days.

I wonder if that's about a drag queen, a cross-dresser or a transgender person? Or something else & I'm misunderstanding.

Because it might be why he's been mysteriously deadly quiet on that other great war in the UK, terf v. tra. For once in his life he may be trying to negotiate a truce.

It looks like he's turned back to the church. People tend to do that when everyone else is giving them a hard time. It's almost impossible to get kicked out of Catholicism.
Even if you sing gay sex songs dressed as a priest... in public.
Because of the cricifix? Sure Madonna always wore one. In fact, Megan from The Exorcist wore one too, albeit in an inappropriate orifice. And she was possessed by a demon.

Pretty sure it should read “Dead at Leeds”
Worst performance I’ve ever seen.
Terrible set list.
Low cost budget in house stage fixtures and fittings.
Venue way to big.
Poorly attended despite only two dates.
Atmosphere of a mortuary.

The British people voted with their feet and we must respect their decision.
They’ve had enough.

🇬🇧 :knife:
You voted by paying to see Moz. You must be going a bit soft, Benny Hill!
