Lifeguard On Duty & Happy Lovers United on upcoming bootleg LP

I can at least say I know of Kill Uncle who's era is obvious. And Fast Car Sharp Bend Goodbye, and Safe, Warm Lancashire Home both from Viva Hate
you are correct, I haven't heard Fast Car, but I do remember SWLH is kinda slow.

The songs I have heard myself (and no I don't have them, the person just let me hear them) were on a tape that other people on here have heard also.
There was a discussion about this tape probably a little over a year ago on here. Anyway the tape I heard consisted of these songs..

Kit (with Moz vocals)
It's hard to walk tall (97 recording)
No one can hold a candle (97 recording)
I know who I love
Hanratty
Dennis cockall song (early version of swallow on my neck)
Fantastic Bird
Belfast
Lifeguard on duty
Happy lovers
Safe warn lancashire home
Kill uncle (rough demo with Morrissey coughing)

and I forgot to add there is another version of Piccadilly (not the extended version) that Morrissey recorded with different lyrics. Totally different lyrics that the album cut and the extended cut I have heard, Legg has this on tape, but his version is kinda crappy sounding.

Ethan, slight correction - per Goddard's Mozipedia, FCSBG is an Alain Whyte co-write from Vauxhall & I. It never went beyond a backing track and no lyric/vocal has ever come to light.

Interesting posts by Roky and Adam - Roky, I know we bantered back and forth a few times regarding that tape you've mentioned. How complete is the '97 version of No One Can Hold a Candle to You? Goddard made it sound as if it was either never attempted or not finished.

Two other "unaccounted for" titles: "Buddy Buried Deeply" (rumored circa Southpaw) and "I'm Not Worth Hitting (AKA, "The Jake LaMotta Song") heavily rumored during from Maladjusted - in fact, Stefan posits that it was on early run lists for consideration.

Another bit from Goddard that contradicts what has been shared: "Belfast" is the working title of "This is Not Your Country," and not "Glass Menagerie"/"The Teachers Are Afraid of the Pupils."

Sorry for the incoherency - I've got a crystalline version of "Born to Hang" pumping from the speakers. Motorways, take a curtain call - you're a Morrissey-solo star.

Cheers,
Jamie

Morrissey - Revelation
The whole record from drop to pop
including the two golden tracks
and a pretty damn good version of Born To Hang

OH SHIT!!

I didn't notice a 'label'. this is a good friend's copy, mine's still in the mail. so, it was a kind of rip and run operation.
The Vinyl is 180 Gram, the sleeve is very vice, no insert. a very "professional" bootleg. well worth the investment.
