Liam Gallagher 'Tweet's' Moz

I watched the Oasis documentary the other night and found it quite entertaining, but I suppose you had to be there at the time to really get it.

Hold on, I was there...

Robbing Manc bastards.

(What's the story) Morning Glory sold 22.4 million copies worldwide. How many albums have the combined Smiths/Morrissey releases sold? And while we are on about sales, their first album, Definitely Maybe sold 15 million.

You don’t assess the quality of music by the sales though. The quality of music is entirely subjective.

One of my favourite albums is My Beauty by Kevin Rowland. It was one of the most disastrous and controversial album releases of all time and has a more disturbing cover than even Low In High School. It sold next to nothing and (here’s the Oasis link) Noel Gallagher was reportedly furious with Creation for spending the money they felt they had made the label on releasing it. There is more feeling and pathos in the first thirty seconds of track one than all Oasis releases combined.

It’s wonderful. Not maybe. Definitely.

I agree on your point around sales, however I was responding to the poster who said this - LOL, even Morrissey-Solo doesn't have people dull enough to believe that. Maybe shoot for something a bit more realistic next time!

Think it could work. Noel writing the music for Moz and in tight co-operation with him. Moz inspiring him and influencing him to come up with some great tracks!

Maybe Moz won’t onsider it due to loyalty to his current writing parners who he seems to be close friends with.

Urban you really are a thick stupid red t**t, why don't you support a local club like Malmo instead of being a sad glory hunter following manu (because they USED to win things), let me guess, you followed them just after the Liverpool era came to an end.. you need to understand that city are about to knock your Trafford luvvies off their pedestal once and for all, have a great new year, best regards, manc lad
Whilst being a United supporter one cannot deny that City are just amazing this season. They will win everything.
United on the other hand are going nowhere. They got Mourinho too late. He's past his sell by date. He'll take United nowhere and then leave.
To have a great leader is a curse aswell as a blessing because they always leave a vacuum when they depart.

This is just plain untrue. Noel has in numerous interviews proclaimed that he became a City fan because his father used to take him to games as a kid: https://www.theguardian.com/football/2000/aug/06/newsstory.sport17

Get your shit straight, you tiresome gobshite of a troll. You make me miss Brummie with your shouting-nonsense-in-the-dark-rants.

Don't be that guy Gregor, every City fan out there know this is true. They both hated their United dad with a passion and has said it live on tv in interview.

I suspect you live in a Mandela effect parallell universe.

Had you been a football fan you know clubs and women choose you never the other way around and I don't agree with your nationalistic racist gobshite view cause there are no borders and anyone can support anything or anyone they like. You brits trying to get that border up again have to realise it is much too late.

Why do your clubs pay loads of money to have swedish players playing for you?

Can't you produce them anymore and are your kids bullied away from the schoolboy training ground from stronger boys from far away lands?

Weak!

I saw Liam praising George Michael today in some documentary on tv sitting as always indoors with some type of norwegian outdoors jacket on still feeling the pain in his bum from his United loving father beating him and his brother.

I bet they are still legging it after they ran into me!

Saved by the staff at Sacha's hotel next to the Unicorn pub.

The league is weak and clubs now openly state they want a CL spot not winning the league like it used to be. Only manager who said he wanted to win everything last season was Mourinho and he ended up winning the most trophies of all managers.

City riding high on not having any rivals bar United and that gives them a free pass every time and Chelsea been doing it too for many years.

United win it the hard way and in a dramatic fashion the rest just bore you senseless. There is always a new season and foreign clubs to lure the best away which always makes it a even playing field in the end.

I only count sides that defended the title and so far in the PL only United and Chelsea under Mourinho have done that and the rest were of course not champions.

It is true their dad took them to see City when they went to their first football game but since then the brothers being ashamed of their abuse have changed their story more often than Liam changed girlfriends.

If City fans ever had one thing against them it is their small time jealousy at anything and everyone and that makes them produce a lot of fake stories about this and that and everything.

That is what living in the shadow of United does to them!

You'd think it is City who won the league for a record number 20 times the way they talk up their side but why did they only become good when they got a lot of money?

Them and Chelsea know they are only where they are cause of some criminals investing in them and The Chelsea owner is the only oligarch that got away with it.

City fans who were always a very racist bunch towards paddies and muslims are now owned by them and as long as they win the odd trophy they are ok with that. The only racists I ever met in mancland were City fans working at some office and they were far from well dressed which is another thing those Ben Sherman wearing oafs are obsessed with but they forget we've seen them over the years.

Shoplifted fashion does not count you Moss Side morons!

I'm not sure of the point you're making Urbanski.
Don't understand the free pass business at all.
But the future will show whether or not Mourinho is a busted flush. I reckon the best they can hope for is a CL place.
City of course will win everything.
Do you really think United are the only exciting team in the PL?
They weren't when scraping draws with Burnley and Leicester and losing to Bristol City for gods sake.
Can you see City or Chelsea losing to a Championship side?
Mourinho will leave when it suits him if he is not fired first.

Every top side have lost to a championship side which is a very underrated league made up of sides who used to make up the PL.

I only find United being able to ve exciting, yes, and have often wondered why other sides fail to be. I think the short answer is that they are far too effective when on a good run.

Mourinho will walk out cause he is the type but he is forever the most successful United manager when it comes to the first season at the club but of course United achievements are not hyped up at all like when other sides stumble through a season being lucky and having paid a fortune to the FA and refs to make them win it.

Bungs used to be a word used a lot in the english game but these days that money is transfered directly from Dubai to the FA. In future the english game will see a scandal (wikileaks) that will be on a bigger scale than the Serie A in the past and that will kill the english game off for good.

A CL spot is all the top sides care about now which killed the excitement and meant that one side runs away with the league and the other ones only worry about the league position.

I agree with Mourinho that I could not care less where we are in the table as long as we're not in the number 1 spot. You as a United fan know full well that United as a club is run by a bunch of backward socialists who only care about the drinks they get for free on matchdays.

The biggest reason investments are lacking is because Paddy Crerand has to ok everything so we will only move forward when that irish scottish prick draws his last breathe.

United need to be modernised by people in the know and not backward legends and fans that are worried about what the fans sing and do. If it ever came to politics no one in their right mind would follow and support United and I know you know that as well.

Certainly is and just one of the albums he was involved in has sold more copies than the entire combined Smiths/Morrissey output

you could be right, do you have some links to back your claims?

BUT more importantly, selling records has NOTHING TO DO with being a musician. I see, and better than Noel, musicians on the street who will never upload on SoundCloud, never mind make and sell a record.

yes, but that doesn't mean it's actually good.

yes, but that doesn't mean it's good.

Indeed, it is rather the evidence we needed to prove that people of the world are absolute idiots. Nothing that ever said anything about life ever had good sales and if you ever wonder why you are surrounded by idiots just check the charts.

People buy records to put on when they vaccum or work out but they never listen to them.

Abuse victims always change their story so no wonder the Gallaghers changed their original story about their United dad to saying that he supported City.

LOL

You cannot dream this up!

Shitty musician and shitty lyrics or not, he wrote the lyrics to the 5th best selling UK album of all time and played to the 2nd biggest UK audience of all time,

.

so what does that prove? .....

That a lot of people like the taste of shit.
