Did anyone catch the part Morrissey said he hasn't left Caesars Palace in over NINE days! What the hell does he do all day inside that joint? I understand the heat makes people stay inside and most days he's been there the temperature has hit over 110 degrees. But that must be dead boring spending nine days in a Vegas hotel room. Surely he's not hanging out at the pool with all the drunks or in the nightclubs with the EDM music blasting, and nobody here has seen him on the casino floor. So surely he's not sitting at the slots knocking back Whiskey Sours.

He’d tried to get to the far side of the stage and ran out of mic cord. He tugged too hard and I think lost his foot speakers, it didn’t seem like he couldnt hear himself after that.

So even though there's one show left, it's probably safe to say we won't hear anything from Bonfire. Perhaps Morrissey has learnt his lesson from the 2011 tracks -- performing unreleased songs live gives them a half-life in badly recorded versions in YouTube. He did perform as yet unreleased tracks in 2014 and 2017, but then the album release was only weeks away. Bonfire has no release date yet and it's possible that it never will.

Now that's a great album. What a nice gift. It features "The Girl of My Best Friend", one of my all time favorite Elvis songs and one I've been praying for Morrissey to cover. Alain would play it perfectly.

Nice to see that "First of the Gang to Die" has returned in it's original (and proper) arrangement.

I didn't like the slightly slower version they had been doing the last few years, nor the one with the trumpet.

Wrong. Slower. ? It's was better before.

Correct. They'd been doing a sort of mariachi version that was slower for the last few years. The result was all energy was removed from the song.
