Bonfire of Teenagers
What a wonderful musical arrangement. Truly.

And I have never REALLY wanted to be in Los Angeles before today. But today I would if I could....

Happy 4th July,

... and obviously....(not that anybody wondered) but I'd be using Adele's spare Jet to fly to Las Vegas from LAX and back again. Every. Single. Day.

After first listening : Live in Oblivion is absolutely amazing .

As for the other songs, Hurling Days is Masterpiece live . I love this song

Are those seats empty because they moved up front?
Ticketmaster again screws people who bought advance tickets and lower priced tickets simply move up to give appearance of intentional, small intimate crowd. Someone on here noted they give free tickets away toward the show's opening. This picture suggest people would rather watch paint dry. Play There is a Light, Why Dont You Find Out For Yourself, Bigmouth and the seats are filled!

Yep! Bonfire is beautiful. (y) Wish I could have seen it live too.

Couple observations from someone who went to the show...

1. It definitely was less crowded than Morrissey's last residency in 2021. However it was still a good size crowd. People were spread out all over and the pit was filled. Ticket prices going up played a factor, no doubt in my mind. Also airfare into Las Vegas was downright extortion.

2. Caesars did a good job of promoting the residency across the city. Noticed plenty of billboards, and signs at the airport, Strip, and on taxis. Really was cool to see.

3. Morrissey sounded INCREDIBLE. The band as well sounded great.

4. Our Frank got a huge pop from the crowd. Tons of people got very excited for that one, myself included.

5. It was really a unique experience to hear all these unreleased songs for the first time, going in totally blind. There were many reactions in the crowd after each one. Bonfire and Oblivion really stuck with me. I saw a man bawling his eyes out after Oblivion.

6. There were TONS of merch stands throughout the Colosseum. Last year there was only 2/3 in the main entrance, this time there was several. Couple shirts caught my eye, but I think there's so much merch that surely it should be on sale a couple months down the road, when I will surely buy some off the website. Last year they only had a few stands and sold record loads and still have some left over for the website stores, so surely I'll wait and gamble to see if what I want gets posted.

7. There was a few pit scalpers/flippers outside the venue trying to sell tickets. Didn't see this last year, but saw some people try to engage. Hope the people that bought tickets off these scalpers took em to the bank.

8. Not sure if it was mentioned, but Caesars removed all the seats in the pit area and raised the stage a few feet. Morrissey mentioned in his banter to the crowd how they raised the stage.

9. There was a huge rumble for the shirt when Morrissey tossed it. Not sure what exactly happened since I was in the 300 level but looking down it seemed like it got very intense very quickly. Pretty sure I saw a few haymakers flying and actual casino security got involved it looked like from my view.

If this was opening night, the guy bawling his eyes out was no joke, probably me.

1080 & 720.
Full gig I believe.

Part 2 is the gig.
Not home to check properly, but the sound appears good enough to rip for a full bootleg.
Will get round to it.
