Ken Loach films on YouTube

I feel this should be in General Discussion as I'm sure loads of Morrissey fans will be interested... but better to place in off topic as not even Mozipedia tries to make a connection between Loach and Moz.

I've just come across this on youtube, loads of Ken Loach's films available - officially, each film in one part, in good quality, all in one place. They don't appear to be all there yet but it does say "A NEW FILM WILL BE ADDED EVERY WEEK UNTIL ENTIRE COLLECTION IS AVAILABLE...so keep checking back" http://www.youtube.com/KenLoachFilms

From the legendary Cathy Come Home, Poor Cow (with Smiths cover star Terence Stamp), Kes (everyone's favourite school film - well, for those of us of a certain age), Riff Raff, Land and Freedom, My Name is Joe, Looking for Eric Loach has made some of the best in British / European / anywhere cinema over the last 40-odd years. All well worth watching... if only it was still possible to copy from youtube :lbf:
"Unlike virtually all his contemporaries, Ken Loach has never succumbed to the siren call of Hollywood, and it's virtually impossible to imagine his particular brand of British socialist realism translating well to that context." (imdb)

All part of the marketing for boxed sets http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;5;-1;-1;-1&sku=668266 & http://hmv.com/hmvweb/displayProductDetails.do?ctx=280;5;-1;-1;-1&sku=668267 or slightly cheaper from the distributers themselves http://www.sixteenfilms.co.uk/store/

Enjoy :thumb:

Lovely! My new blu ray player allows me to play you tube content, via the remote. I'll have a play with this :thumb:

I know. I just received a copyright infringement for uploading the 'football scene' from Kes. Last chance saloon. :(
