Just to clarify the reasons for the seal cull

First off, make it clear that I do not suppor the cull in any way!

However, if you really want to do something about it, stop eating fish stcks and other fish products!

The reason for the cull is that the seals are putting a huge dent in the already fragile cod stocks. the very Cod stocks that "we" have overfished!

Simple equation, Humans leave cod for seals, humans eat vegetables, seals eat cod, humans leave seals alone.

Wow how simple, lets try another equation

Humans walk to corner shop, humans stop buying hummers and trucks, humans require less oil, humans leave iraqis and other oil rich nations to themselves, arabs stop killing americans.

Amazing how the problems of the world are truly so simple until you throw greedy people into the mix!

Well i just visited your country, we went to south beach in Miami and Tampa bay

The hummer is out of control there too!

Hell even minimum wage earners are driving yukons!

I say double your gas prices and then we can see what reality looks like!, reality for the rest of the world that is

Even here in Canada, our gas prices are too low (for the sake of the ecological and political stability of the planet)

Our regular gas works out to about $2.20 USD per Gl

Think of all the gas that those SUVs burn while waiting in line at the drive through for their long john silver's fish sticks!!

I never really understood hunting/poaching to begin with...you kill something that hasnt done jack shit to you??? i know some will f***in cry and say"well to some,thats the only way they can eat"...ok....but why kill hundreds/thousands for no reason???? then come on the tele and bitch and cry and moan about how this and that are extinct???? I agree! Even as the gas prices climb here, people continue to buy these hulking vehichles! I also think it has something to do with class issues as well, just my take, it's like, look at MY Hummer, I'm looking through my window DOWN at you in your Toyota Corolla. Oh, sorry, sardine can.
