They recorded at Voltage Studios, Bradford, where my band rehearses. Tim, the proprietor is a top bloke.

Enjoy it while you can Tosser has loved loads of bands over the years, it never lasts though just ask David Showie or Sandie Show or Alan Black.
Rick Astley still remains a friend though !

Happy to help

I once worked in Bradford and I used to stay on Otley when I did.
A big hello to everyone in the Black horse and a big hello to everyone in Weegmans butchers (I really miss your pork pies) and the naughty mess thy left on my trousers.

How does the chosen one send personal messages these days ? He used to only communicate by fax back in the old days.
Does the puppet Jewlear contact one on one's behalf ?

What is Tossers protocol these days ?

The lyrics say how the rest of us feel. "Why do you hate me?". Disappointed.

Oh my! I will have to agree, Davie, this band does nothing for me. Maybe Moz saw something we didn't see, maybe they rock live?? Dunno. They seem terribly derivative. :squiffy:

Also, why did he have to add "originally from the smiths" ?? Surely not needed!

Like most music Mozza has showed an interest in over the, say, last 10 years this was absolutely atrociuos.

"Paul McCartney, originally from the Beatles"

"Neil Armstrong, the astronaut."

"Adolf Hitler, the German fascist leader."

"Jesus, the Manchester City winger."

I remember when a girl band was asked if they liked Morrissey and they claimed to love him but didn't know who he was or what band he was in, this lot are doing better than them at least
Its not my bag but at least they are young and have an energy, rather than pretending to be young, aping morrissey and sucking off Tony V
Be good if mozza had these on tour. A completely new start free from the nightmare that been happening since he let Tony and Kristeen in his life.

I wonder if Moz taking interest in them has to do with the name they had chosen - Mar(Marr)Mozets! ;)

It's not the worst song I've heard lately, but it lacks a bit in originality. I'd have to hear more from them to have a fully informed opinion.

I am sure someone here noticed that the bands name seems to be a mix of Marr (Johnny) and Moz (Morrissey) with an ets attached at the end. By namesake they appear to be fans. But the tweet makes them out to be a bit of a twit saying from the band The Smiths. If he were a fan he would never have put that in, he would assume everyone knew. But then again it could be a ploy to hide the fact they are a namesake!
