Guest
From Moz tour.

JR: Can I be your friend after the show?
M: I don’t think so.

JR: It’s a great album I nearly cried when I heard it.
M: Well, why didn’t you cry?
JR: I like to hold something back.
M: For when?
JR: For when you’ll be my friend.

Ha, gotta hand it to moz

> Thanks for posting that - I can't wait to see it tonight!

someone tell the people at morrisseytour.com to lose the sample
when you log on, shits me up every time

tune in here tonight and i will try and transcribe the interview
live as it happens, it may be messy but hey, deal with it

I hate that too! I nearly jump out of my skin everytime I click onto their website. My volume is usually quite high on my speakers. geesh.

And for anyone who might miss it tonight, remember it's repeated tomorrow night at 12.30am. And The Importance of Being Morrissey is repeated on Sunday on Channel 4, 1.45am. Must remember to set the video for that, some idiot taped over my last copy.

Pleased that Slug managed to get a seat in the audience. I wonder what one has to do to get in to something like that? I tried and failed. I really should have gone along and hassled whoever just to get a seat, instead of the 50 somethings that don't even know Morrissey. I hope they turned the volume right up and blew some of the old girls out of their pop socks.

The lady done good - what a scoop.

i wonder what sort of reception he got, did the audience laugh a lot,
cheer, what did four puffs and a piano sing when he came on, i just
am too excited, more excited than the album coming out on monday, that
was ruined by good old vh1.com and my own inability to stop myself

Apparently Morrissey was performing (he doesn't like this word, but still) in front of deaf people, which is a waste.

The good news is that morrisseytour.com has a good description of what happened and Angela says that she'll transcribe all that was discussed, not just what was broadcast.

Is Morrissey doing the summer seacon at Butlins, Clacton?

I thought that for a second Nonesoever, but I know that deaf people enjoy music particularly because one can feel the rhythm and vibration, so I say that those people had every bit as much right as anyone else to be there. Nevertheless I would have given my right arm to have been there, no not literally, but metaphoric-lee!

let's face the sad fact, they don't enjoy it in the same way or as much as we do. I'm sure some blind people can discern changes in lighting ...

I just don't think attending such an event is much fun for them.

Besides, being a Morrissey fan would make the experience much more worthwhile and enjoyable, than it was for those old ladies.

As regular visitors to this board, and the Star and Garter, the old mozzer has obviously got his fashion sense from me The red jacket has been done since last January, but it still looks as cool as frig!
