In Live & Loud it ran an article that Johnny Marr and Morrissey were seen leaving Toucan studios in Hollywood last month, sparking rumours that they have been collaborating on new material.

They left the studio together then Moz went straight off to the set of his new film...yawn.

Yeah but wasnt he at Preston too? Please let it be true. PS What does lol mean?

lol means 'looking over london'

It wasn't Morrissey. People really must stop confusing Moz with Ben Affleck.

now that would be nice!!if only they'd do a one off tour as the smiths, just for the hell of it inc. joyce and rourke.i had a conversation with andy rourke at fab cafe manchester a while back, and he said he'd love to to tour again as the smiths, even if it was just one night! well you never know...stranger things have happened at sea; although i dont thimk mike joyce would be asked.

Indeed, stranger things have happened. If they were to do just one date I reckon they could sell out any venue in the World.

The only thing is that Joyce obviously would not be asked but people forget the other feud between Marr and Rourke, obviously best mates throughout their childhood but by all accounts never speak to each other now. There must be strong feeling for that to happen. Its one thing to be sued but to be sued by your best mate who you have done so much for is a different thing. Morrissey appears to have no major problem with Rourke but if Marr has then that would be an issue.

So if you did take out both Rourke and Joyce what would you have? Who would you replace them with?? Deano and Gary???? Craig Gannon (who I think they also hate)?

Little Barrie is a dead ringer for JM

Excellent ! It's been at least twelve hours since we last heard this.

I thought this too. He was a great stand in as was Jessie Slasher. They played a major part in the best tour ever.

Alain wirtes the songs and I look forward to his return.

Moz knows this

When he introduced him at the Chicago show, I had never seen him before, but I was so struck by this resemblance I yelled out "Johnny Marr!" I was in the front so I think he heard me -- is that why he got he got Jessie instead?

I saw them busking/rehearsing outside Boots in Altrincham

Clearly a Smiths tour is on its way!
