John McKay is doing an event in Leeds. Johnny cited "Hong Kong Garden" among his favorite singles of the late 1970s in a Q magazine interview in 2006. Boz Boorer is also a great admirer of the two first Banshees albums. When asked "who do you regret not going to see live", Johnny replied "Siouxsie and the Banshees Mk1"
Titled "An Evening With John Mckay", the event will be both a conversation and a demonstration of his "metal-shard roar".
